Panasonic Lumix TZ7 Digital Camera - Black (10.1MP, 12x Optical Zoom) 3.0 inch LCD
Overall Rating:

Our Review
The Panasonic Lumix TZ7 is a high quality digital camera, which has 10.1 Megapixel sensor, 3’’ LCD screen and 12 x optical zoom. It comes with great number of features that many photographers will find tremendously helpful and is even capable of recording high definition (1280 x 720 pixels) movies in a highly compressed format. The use of the Dolby Digital Stereo Creator feature permits recording outstanding quality, audio while shooting the motion pictures and the wind-cut function reduces the background noise immensely.
In order to take blur-free pictures, the Panasonic Lumix TZ7 employs Intelligent ISO control that automatically adjusts the ISO settings if the subject moves and another feature that prevents blur, caused by camera shake, is the Optical image stabilizer. The High sensitivity mode is ideal for low-light situations and the in-built flash is capable of working for up to 24 meters distance.
The camera is HDMI ready, so the user can easily preview his or her photos and videos on a high definition TV screen and for cable-free preview, the SD card can be simply taken out and inserted into the SD slot of a TV. Despite all its options, the camera is quick and has minimal start-up and very fast zoom; other useful characteristics of the Panasonic Lumix TZ7 are the Intelligent Auto mode feature, face recognition, AF tracking, and Intelligent exposure.
The box comes with battery pack and battery charger, AC/AV cable, USB cable, hand strap, battery case, and CD ROM.
Users Comments
The TZ7 is a fantastic digital camera and the quality of the pictures and the movies is simply outstanding! I love the anti-shake and the almost instant focus, the big screen and the wide zooming range. The only gripe that I have is the battery life – it isn’t bad, but I expected more and if you are going to shoot all day long, you should take spare one with you. Apart from this little drawback, this Panasonic camera is well worth buying!
