The Canon Digital IXUS 95 IS is a point and shoot digital camera that boasts great number of user-friendly and hi-tech features within its compact silver outer shell. Due to its technologically advanced features of 10 Megapixels, 3.0x optical zoom and 17 shooting modes, this camera is a dream-come-true for any avid photographer. Thanks to the auto mode in combination with ISO auto, motion detection technology and optical image stabilizer, the owner can not only take pictures effortlessly, but doesn’t have to worry about blurring as well. In addition, the incorporation of scene detection technology, auto red-eye correction and face self-timer in the camera ensure perfect results even in case of portraits.

The Canon Digital IXUS 95 IS operates on one lithium-ion battery and is considered one of the most sought-after models in its category due to its unique combination of advanced features and convenience of use. This camera weighs only 118 grams and the box contains wrist strap, AC cable, AV cable, interface cable, battery pack, charger, and manual kit.

I am not a professional, but I am very serious about my photography, so I rarely rely on digital cameras. Well, I bought this particular one, though, since it is very compact and I can just slip it in my pocket and take it anywhere I go and whenever I don’t feel like taking my DSLR, this is the camera that I use.

First things first – one of the most common complains I hear about many of the digital cameras is the “bad quality” photos that they take or pictures that are grainy, blurry, too bright, etc. If you want great photos, you should learn about the features of this little camera and how to actually use them – don’t take me wrong, the Auto mode will work most of the time, but if the photo doesn’t seem the way you want it, then it’s time to try a few different ISO settings, experiment with the Auto white balance, use the Vivid if you want to add more color, etc. and only then you will discover the full potential of this Cannon camera!

I love just about everything about this camera – great colors, perfect pictures, enough control if you want to fine-tune your shots, not to mention the ease of use and the small size! And the viewfinder is a nice touch as well! Any drawbacks? Well, I would love to have bigger optical zoom, but you can’t get it all at this price and all in all, I am extremely happy with my purchase.
