In this short article, we will list a few tips that would help you choose the best add-ons and avoid making some costly mistake:
- Buy a good camera bag! Your camera bag should be large enough to hold your camera, any extra lenses that you might want to take along if you use SLR camera, the spare batteries, and your storage media cards. However, you might want to pack some UV and other filters, lens hood, LCD hood, cleaning kit, and number of other accessories as well – make sure that you buy a bag that can fit them all.
- Consider a camera case with great number of pockets and compartments. This would help you easily keep all the accessories in their own pockets – separating the used from the unused batteries and the full from the empty memory cards is a definite time saver.
- When buying a filter, make sure that the filter will fit your camera. Even though you are likely to find some excellent deals online, unless you are completely certain that the filter that you are purchasing will fit your camera, avoid buying them off the Internet. Rather go to a camera shop and take your camera along, as this would save you time, money, and a few headaches as well.
