[10/11/2010] Digital Camera Accessory
Listed below are a few tips that would help you carry better for your digital camera and decide what accessories to take on your next photo-shooting trip:
- Take a PDA or Notebook, as this is extremely useful if you want to be able to record a lot of relevant information about each photo. In some cases, a small digital recorder is much more suitable for the job, but if you are about to take photos in a concert or other environment, which is too noisy or where it is inappropriate for you to take audio notes, then a PDA or a Notebook might be all you need.
- Bring along a small flashlight: if you except to take a lot of photos at night or in a low-light situation, a small flashlight can come in handy. They could be easily placed in a small pocket of your camera bag and do not add too much to its total weight either.
- Carry your camera and laptop in the same bag. This would help you worry about one bag less and there are many companies that make combo bags, which could fit both.
- Purchase a tripod with a built-in bubble level. If you are likely to take photos at night or use long exposure times, then purchase a tripod or any other stabilization equipment is one of the ways to prevent your photos from coming out blurry. When buying a tripod, apart from its weight and quality, make sure that it comes with an in-built level. This would help you take perfectly straight photos and you will not have to use editing software to rotate your images later on.
